Hockey: Swallows Win, Ravens/Longtails Draw
As the Bermuda Women’s Hockey Team starts play in Mexico in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, action also continues on the local front, with the Swallows defeating the Bluebirds, and the Ravens and Longtails playing to a draw.
Ravens 1 Longtails 1
Megan Troake gave the Ravens the lead in the 3rd minute when she connected with a Field Goal, however Laura Hope equalized for the Longtails with a Field Goal in the 54th minute.
Bluebirds 0 Swallows 3
Liz Stewart gave the Swallows a 1 – 0 lead with a Field Goal in the 25th minute, the lead was doubled with a Penalty Corner goal off the stick of Natasha Hallman in the 35th minute, Kelli Nusum would close out the scoring for the Swallows in their 3 – 0 win over the Bluebirds with a Penalty Corner goal in the 48th minute.
