CAC Games Hockey: Trinidad Beat Bermuda

hoc141115The Bermuda Women’s Hockey Team began play in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Mexico, losing 5-0 to Trinidad & Tobago earlier today [Nov 15].

Trinidad opened the scoring with a Penalty Corner Goal in the 30th minute off the stick of Kristin Thompson.

Kayla Brathwaite doubled the Trinidad score with a Field Goal five minutes later, and the teams went to the break with Trinidad leading 2 – 0.

The second half Trinidad stepped up the pressure with a goal ten minutes after the restart with Dana-Lee de Gannes scoring a Field Goal, two minutes later it was 4 – 0 when Brianna Govia scored a Field Goal.

The final goal of the game was a Field Goal which came off the stick of Oire Trotman who gave Trinidad and Tobago a 5 – 0 win.
