Weeks & Team Deliver 100 Christmas Hampers
The Progressive Labour Party Constituency #16 Branch is today thanking the community for supporting their annual Turkey Give-Away, saying that MP Michael Weeks and his Constituency 16 team delivered 100 Christmas hampers to area seniors and families.
MP Michael Weeks remarked, “With so many people out of work, we’ve tried to ease the burden on our area families and seniors for a little while over the holiday season.”
“I’m thankful for all of the sponsors and volunteers who have helped to make this year’s Turkey Give-Away a success and remain hopeful that there will be less families in need next Christmas.
“Regardless, our goal in Constituency 16 is to continue helping where we can, whenever we can to make life better for our constituents throughout the year,” MP Weeks concluded.
In total, MP Weeks, his wife Cindylee and his Constituency 16 team delivered 100 Christmas hampers to area seniors and families. This is the fourth consecutive year that MP Michael Weeks and the Constituency 16 team have delivered Christmas hampers during the holiday season.

No one can fault the generosity, but it seems a bit disingenuous – political food hampers from the party that brought about substantial carnage to the working class. Why not collaborate with another charitable agency who is better positioned to support our needy families and keep yourself free and clear from the potential criticism that you are doing this largely for political expediency???
