Winter Age Group Championships Kicks Off
The first day of the 2014 Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s Mailboxes Unlimited Winter Age Group Championships got underway last night [Dec 5], with several Personnel Best [PB] set on the first night of action.
Jessica Bruton won the Girls 10 & Under 100 Short Course Meter Freestyle race touching the wall in a PB time of 1:11.64, Taylor White also swam a PB on her way to finishing second clocking 1:22.35 and another PB time saw Carys Nokes clock 1:22.94 finishing third.
Sam Williamson took almost four seconds off his Personnel Best time on his way to winning the Boys 10 & Under 100 SC Meter Freestyle with a time of 1:18.67, Finn Moseley finished second with a PB time of 1:18.67 and Adriano Rymon-Lipinski was third in a PB time of 1:33.56.
During the 11-12 Girls 100 SC Meter Freestyle, Holly Bruton lowered her PB time on her way to winning the race with a time of 1:12.29, Logan Watson-Brown finished second with a PB time of 1:17.61 and Gabriella Pitman clocked a PB time of 1:19.23 finishing third.
Keagan Woolley’s PB time of 1:06.46 saw him win the 11-12 Boys 100 SC Meter Freestyle, Jack Harvey clocked a PB time of 1:09.21 finishing second and Alex Bordage finished third with a time of 1:10.69.
