2014 Christmas Bird Count Records 92 Species

January 1, 2015

This ‘sneezing’ Snow Goose pictured below was one of 92 species of birds recorded on the annual Christmas Bird Count, the Bermuda Audubon Society said.

In a post on social media yesterday, the Society said, “Count week finished yesterday with a further 6 species seen during the week. This week marked the 40th count to be held in Bermuda which over the years has recorded an astonishing 250 species of birds.”

That looks like the bird that was watching motocross at Southside on boxing day.

I don’t think the bird is sneezing. More likely expressing displeasure at our endless political bickering.
