Island Basketball League Double Header Results
A total of 256 points were scored as the CellOne Island Basketball League continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a men’s double-header.
The Twisters got the evening off with a 65-49 win over the Flyboys. Kevin Stephens had his season high 33 points for the Twisters and Jaren Haley had 19 points for the Flyboys.
The second game of the night saw the Thunder Cats defeat the Hoop Stars 79-63, Jason Lowe became the highest single game scorer for the season with 41 points for the Thunder Cats, while Johnny Lugo scored 17 points for the Hoop Stars.
