Coming off a win on vaulting at the YellowJackets Holiday Invitational in December, Bermuda’s top finish came from Jacob Madeiros on the same event, winning the silver medal with a 10.2. Madeiros also finished 5th on parallel bars [10.1] and 9th on pommel horse [9.2]. Teammate Ben Mello, in his first ever competition, earned a 6th place medal on vaulting [10.0], and also finished 13th on parallel bars [9.6].

In a highly competitive Level 5 division, Jordan Trimarchi scored a huge 10.4 on rings, but finished just out of the medals due to a tie break [13th]. Trimarchi also had a strong vault for a 9.8 and 19th place.
The boys squad is back in action at the end of the month, when 6 gymnasts will travel to College Park, Maryland for the prestigious Mid Atlantic Gymnastics Invitational.
