Photos: Bermuda Footballers Defeat Grenada

Following their 2-2 draw with Grenada on Friday [Mar 6], the Bermuda men’s football team went on to defeat Grenada 2-0 at the National Sports Center yesterday [Mar 8].

Bermuda took the lead early in the first half when a cross from Zeiko Lewis was headed in by Antwan Russell giving Bermuda the 1 – 0 lead.

Bermuda made a change at the half, with Cecoy Robinson coming on for LeJuan Simmons, and six minutes into the half Bermuda made two more changes, bringing off Marco Warren and Russell, with Casey Castle and Rai Simons coming into the match.

Lewis was taken out of the match in the 86th minute after being fouled, and he was replaced by Jahnaze Swan.

The two teams played out the second half with Bermuda maintaining the 1-0 lead, and in stoppage time Bermuda doubled the lead when Casey Castle tapped in from close range after Simons used his pace and blew pass his marker, earning a 2-0 victory.
