Screening Of “Still Alice” Movie To Raise Funds
In an effort to raise awareness of Dementia in the community, Westmeath will be showing the film Still Alice on Friday [March 6] at 6:30pm at the Speciality Cinema and Grill in Hamilton.
Actress Julianna Moore won an Oscar this past month for her performance in Still Alice, a film The Guardian describes as “effortlessly excellent, about a difficult subject”.

La Trattoria also proudly supports Westmeath in this fundraiser by donating a portion of food and beverage sales from all guests that show their ticket from Still Alice on this evening.
“Proceeds from this charitable event are to support Westmeath’s BE Dementia Friendly campaign; a new campaign to bring awareness to the community of how we can all be helpful and accepting of individuals living with Dementia. Westmeath believes living well with dementia is possible.
