BFRS Extinguish Brush Fire On Orange Valley

At approximately 11:08 pm last night [April 15], the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service [BFRS] responded to a report of a confirmed Brush Fire on Orange Valley Road, Devonshire.

Fire Service spokesperson, Sergeant Jamal Albuoy said, “BFRS responded to the incident with appliances from our Hamilton Station and our Port Royal Station. Each appliance was manned with 4 personnel.

“On our arrival, an area of brush measuring approximately 40 feet by 40 feet was involved with fire. BFRS personnel extinguished the blaze and secured the scene by wetting down the surrounding areas. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
