Western Stars Hosts FC Virginia U/14 Girls Team
An Under 14 girls’ team from FC Virginia arrived in Bermuda and are set to play three games at the National Sports Centre tomorrow, Good Friday and Saturday morning. Members of the club are being hosted by the Western Stars Sports Club, home of the Dandy Town Hornets.
FC Virginia will be playing the Under-14 Dandy Stars at 6 p.m. on Thursday, the Under-14 Hornets (boys) at 10 a.m. on Good Friday and the National Academy’s Under 15 Girls at 9 a.m. on Saturday. All games will be played at the National Sports Centre’s north field.
WSSC President Willis Dill welcomed the club to the Island: “It great to have FC Virginia here in Bermuda. We are pleased that a relationship has flourished between the two clubs. I am looking forward to the games and hope that the team not only enjoys playing the matches, but has the opportunity to experience the authentic Bermuda that we all love.”
