Netball: BNA Summer League Season Results
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Summer League Season continued with a Triple-Header at Bernard’s Park, with 129 goals scored.
The Teachers put on a display on their way to defeating Squad Two 25 – 9, Shawnette Adams scored 13 goals to lead the Teachers, while Kennelyn Smith scored 12 goals. Kasmilah Nasir scored 6 goals for Squad Two, while Jadaesha Swan scored twice and Amaiah Butterfield scored once.
Squad One defeated BPSU 42 – 15. Squad One were led to victory by Amali Smith with 26 goals, while Donbauri Robinson added 11 goals and Zhanae Simmons scored 5 goals. Jahtuere Trott scored 8 goals for BPSU, while Alex Dowling scored 4 times and Perne Dillas scored 3 goals.
Family defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 20 – 18, Jay-lyn Hines scored 10 goals to lead Family to victory, while Rose Sanders added 5 goals, Gertrikquia Hatherley chipped in with 3 goals and Nakia Webb scored twice. Vernicka Symonds scored 10 goals for the PHC Lady Zebras, while Jennifer Simmons added 5 goals and Tyra-Lynn Simmons scored 3 times.
