In Motion Set To Host Annual Dance Showcase
The In Motion School of Dance is getting set to host a series of performances for its annual showcase, dubbed ‘Road Trip,’ with the shows taking place between today [June 10] and June 13 at the Earl Cameron Theatre at City Hall.
In Motion students perform to ‘Taken’:
The performances will take place this evening, June 11, and June 12 at 7.00pm, and again on June 13 at 2.00pm and 7.00pm.
The In Motion website says, “The Annual Dance Showcase is an important part of the dance education and an extension of benefits derived from dance and theatre training.”
‘Say My Name’ provides the backdrop for a dance performance:
“As part of their participation dancers learn cooperation, stage presence, and projection of their individual personalities.
“Our themed Dance Showcase, held in June, is a fun-filled and often interactive performance involving the whole school.”
In Motion students dance to the song ‘Take U There’:
Tickets are on sale through the In Motion website or ptix.bm, costing $42 for general admission and $29 for students.
