BFRS Responds To Hamilton Parish House Fire
A house fire on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish today [June 24] saw three Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service vehicles and 10 personnel respond, with “extensive heat and smoke damage” reported.
Russann Francis from the Bermuda Fire & Rescue spokesperson said, “Today the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service responded to a fire on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish, just near the Coney Island area.”
“The house has received extensive heat and smoke damage, however the fire was contained to one room. The fire was quickly extinguished and at this time the fire is under investigation.
“We do have the roads closed in the area, so we would advise residents and vehicular traffic to find another route.”
“We had three vehicles and ten personnel respond to this incident. On arrival, there was no one [in the house], and as far as we know, there were no injuries.”
