Junior “Scientist” Ming Remanded In Custody

July 27, 2015

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [July 27], 51-year-old Junior Ming — also known as ‘Scientist’ — pleaded not guilty to three charges involving allegations of threatening words and threatening behaviour in July.

Ming denied telling one woman: “Call the f***** police. I’ll knock your block off,” also denied saying to another woman: “When I come to murder you, then don’t come and ask any questions,” and also denied kicking and beating on a door.

Initially, on responding to the first charge, Ming gave a rambling and disjointed story to Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo, who ordered him removed and brought back later.

On his return, Ming listened to the charges and plead not guilty to all three.

Magistrate Tokunbo ordered him to be remanded into custody until August when Ming returns for Mention.
