“Understanding And Managing Risk Culture”
Deloitte Ltd. will be hosting an Institute of Risk Management [IRM] Webinar entitled “Understanding and Managing Risk Culture”, on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Deloitte office on 20 Parliament Street.
The webinar [which was first broadcast in March 2015] is presented by Dr. Simon Ashby, Plymouth Business School and Chairman of the Institute of Operational Risk.
It examines what we mean by “risk culture” and what good risk culture look like. Embedding risk management into an organization to the extent that it reliably makes a difference is a difficult task.
To achieve this, boards must keep risk high on their agenda and continue to ask themselves whether they have the right culture, people and processes.
IRM is leading the debate on risk culture. Drawing upon the wealth of practical experience and expert knowledge across the institute, IRM has developed guidance for organizations wanting a greater understanding of their own risk culture and practical tools that can be applied to drive change.
