Family Centre To Hold Cup Match Tag Day
Premier Michael Dunkley welcomed Martha Dismont, Executive Director of the Family Centre to the Cabinet Office today [July 28] to highlight the charity’s Annual Cup Match Tag Day which kicks off tomorrow.
The Premier and Ms. Dismont were joined by Somerset Captain Jekon Edness and St. George’s Captain OJ Pitcher.
It’s been 20 years since the Family Centre has been hosting the annual Cup Match tag day, and funds raised go to aid families and children who are in need of critical support and helping services.
Premier Dunkley said today, “I am pleased to show my support for the Family Centre’s Cup Match Tag Day. They provide an important service for the most vulnerable in our community.
“The funds raised are vital to assisting Martha and her team in the work that they do, and I want to encourage all residents to support the Family Centre’s tag day efforts tomorrow.”
Ms. Dismont added, “We are pleased to be celebrating 20 years of selling Cup Match ribbons for our Tag Day on July 29th!
“We are grateful to the public for supporting us for these past 20 years to ensure that we can continue to provide critical services to children and families.
“We are also very grateful to the many sponsors over the years who have made Tag Day possible for Family Centre!”
