Barbados Bound Flight Diverts To Bermuda
JetBlue 1261 — which was heading from New York to Bridgetown, Barbados — diverted to Bermuda this afternoon [June 9] touching down at approximately 1.00pm.
The aircraft was met at the LF Wade International Airport terminal by emergency services which included an police, fire and an ambulance. We understand one person was taken to hospital with a family member accompanying them. The flight continued on to its original destination at approximately 2.45pm.
Best wishes to the person who needed hospital attention.
Yes ~ prayers for the person who needed to be taken to hospital, and comfort for the accompanying family member and for all of your loved ones. God Speed!
And all Bermuda can get is a E-190. Sad.
JetBlue flies two flights everyday/nearly everyday, a E190 and a A319/320
@somuchless
Who cares about what type of aircraft Bermuda “gets”? Do you not have better things to complain about? Does this really affect you?
A320 is used on the JFK flight while the E190 fly out of BOS.
Mighty fine lookin aircraft….perhaps we could put inflight advertising out some how….all those in favour of diverting to Bermuda say I…..a few detour signs at international airports…and stay at Hamilton Princess….where you are treated as such….oh yes…that brings up a point…my wife and her sister and a return guest from overseas went for lunch…place was empty…hostess or waitress asked if dey had a reservation…they didn’t…so she proceeded to seat them outside…perhaps she should have her lunch outside!
awwwww thank you so much for all the positive comments. im truly sorry for scarring all the passengers , it all started from the time i went into the bathroom and held my head down then after holding up my head rapidly i felt like i was going down, so i started behaving badly, but i had to go back all the way to ny and re book for barbados, including buying a new ticket, as of now i wont be able to fly on jetblue :/ but i still made it into barbados on american airlines. thanks again and god bless you all.
