65 Year Old Man’s Body Found In Middletown
[Updated] At approximately 11.15am this morning [July 20], a dead body was found in the Middletown Lane area, the police have confirmed. The police confirmed the body was that of a male, and further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.

Update 12.28pm:: Police Media Manager Dwayne Caines said, “At 11.15am on Monday, police responded to a report of a dead body being found on Middletown Lane.
“Presently, the scene is being processed by officers from the Forensic Support Unit and officers from other units are on-hand.
“At this time, we are unclear as to the circumstances surrounding the death, but at the appropriate time, we will have a full report for the media.
Answering questions, Mr Caines said: “It can be confirmed that the body was in an advanced state when we got the call from a member of the public.
“At this time we have officers on the scene, and at the appropriate time, we will speak to the circumstances surrounding the untimely death.”
Update 4.42pm: A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of a body being found at a residence on Middle Town Lane in Pembroke at 11:15am. Upon police arrival they came upon the lifeless body of a 65 year old Pembroke man.
“As result the Forensic Support Unit was called, as well as an on call doctor, and an investigation into the death has now commenced. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified and foul play is not suspected.”
