Bermuda Cyclists Head To Dominican Republic
The Bermuda junior national team is leaving for Dominican Republic tomorrow morning [Aug 6] to compete in the Junior Caribbean Cycling Championships in Santiago de los Caballeros. Competition gets underway on Saturday with an Individual Time Trial and then a Road Race on Sunday.
Representing Bermuda will be:
- Daniel Oatley – Junior Male 17/18
- Dylan Hill – Pre-Junior 15/16
- Kaden Hopkins – Junior 15/16
- Matthew Oliveira – Junior 15/16
- Cassandra McPhee – Female 15-18
- Tristan Narraway – Female 15-18
Alyssa Rowse had been selected for the events but due to injuries sustained in a training ride she is unable to travel with the team.
BBA President Peter Dunne is travelling with the team, as well as Dave Collins who will be the mechanic.
