Tropical Depression Eleven Forms In Atlantic

Tropical Depression Eleven has formed in the Atlantic, and while it could become a tropical storm it is not considered a threat to Bermuda.

The U.S. National Hurricane Center said, “Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph [55 km/h] with higher gusts. Some strengthening is possible during the next couple of days, and the cyclone could become a tropical storm by Tuesday.”

The Bermuda Weather Service said that it is not threat to Bermuda at this time, and its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hours has passed.
