The east end is presently welcoming visitors, with the cruise ship Balmoral arriving this morning [Oct 8], carrying a projected 1660 passengers and 471 crew.
According to the latest version of the 2015 cruise ship schedule [PDF], this is one of two cruise visits the east end will receive this year, with the Club Med 2 also having visited the Olde Towne in April 2015.
.
Owned and operated by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, the 715-foot long Balmoral is named after the Scottish home of the Royal Family, and offers 710 cabins and suites, restaurants, pub, shows in the Neptune Lounge, an Observatory Lounge, swimming pools, a spa and more.

Fred Olsen Cruise Ships has just proved that Bermuda MP’s are LIARS!

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.”
The issue is that this is a ship aimed at the UK crowd and therefore won’t be sailing on the East Coast US to Bermuda run. She should look familiar as it is the former Norwegian Crown and sailed to Bermuda for many years for NCL before being sold.
Wow! nice to see the ship in St. George’s and “Pilot Jimmy Darrell Gig” to welcome her.
I hope they come to dockyard and buy from us he he
DAM and they dug that channel up AND I MISSED IT,WOW where did all that stuff go ?????
Must have gone to Dockyard for all the fill that they needed.
