Photos & Video: October Lights On Front Street
[Updated with video] The first October Lights event was held last night [Oct 7], with the event playing host to vendors, Glo Cones, a performance by Rockfire, and more.
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is behind October Lights, which they’ve called a “magical version of Harbour Nights” featuring light-related activities every Wednesday night in October on Front Street.
Stephanie Lee, Marketing & Event Coordinator for the Chamber said, “October Lights is another opportunity for vendors and businesses to showcase themselves and highlight what Bermuda has to offer.”
.
Executive Director, Kendaree Burgess said, “The Chamber was looking for a way to maximise member involvement around the two major events taking place this October, the America’s Cup World Series and The Bermuda Tattoo.
“October Lights will feature illuminated vendor booths, light shows such as fire dancing and glow-in-the dark paraphernalia. Traditionally the streets of Hamilton go quiet after September. October Lights is a way to re-energise the city and provide additional entertainment for visitors and locals alike.”
