Losers like this don’t want jobs. They want everything handed to them. And if we stop handing them everything, they feel it is their right to take it from those of us who know what an honest days work is all about. These thugs are useles drains on society.

Share the pie. Hanbury $15k a week; housing, bonus, transportation. Air arrivals decline. Don’t share, these little bies will be waiting in a corner.

    School’s out…innit? 4 munchkins! Cut their a**** when they’re found!!

Munchkins? That’s the problem…. Hurt people who never grew up..

      • Awake says:

Hurt people? That part you got wrong! The “who never grew up” part you got right! Let’s see if you have the same sentiments when they rob YOU or YOUR family!

      • Candy Korn says:

Four men? Too many to get away. One will be recognized or one will tell a friend a girlfriend or someone else! Or one of them will get caught doing something else illegal and squeal on the others.

    • Legalgal says:

      Criminals. Full stop.

      • @Legalgal, you are about the only one who has written a decent comment, because at the end of the day, these young men are reading these same blogs, and is there anything that can be said that can sit on their conscience, that would make a difference.

Legalgal you said it full stop, and I would only add on to these same young men, that a circle has no beginning and no ending, what you sow today will come back around full circle,to bite you in the ox and just live long enough and life has a way of teaching you some core lessons.

        Tomorrow always comes.

They really do think they are LITTLE gangsters don’t they and I emphasize the word little.

  4. Raymond Ray says:

Well I must admit, you’ve got a great description of all four suspects…not :-(
No-one could follow anyone of them bies? How many roads lead from that area? Who would’ve believed there been a police station around the corner not too long ago…

    • Confused says:

For Mr. Ray and anyone else who feels the need to make unnecessary comments…unless you have been the victim of an armed robbery, you are totally unaware of the situation. Unless you are a trained professional the last thing on your mind is taking a description. And for the record, I can think of at least 6 different roads leading away from the area.

      • Raymond Ray says:

I doubt there are 6 roads leading away from that bank. In any event, they did not rob the bank, they’d been unsuccessful. But it’s still a bloody shame seeing things like this happening in Bermuda at anytime…

        • Verly says:

I know your type- all bark and no bite. It’s easy to say what somebody should have done when you’re safe behind a computer screen. Totally different when you have a gun pointed in your face.

I remember when taxis were the target of robberies some time ago. I knew a driver that used to say exactly what he would do if one of the thieves attempted to rob him. Well one night, a guy put a knife to his throat and demanded money. Do you know what the driver did? He gave up his cash without a fight. One never knows how they will react when faced with a dangerous, potentially life threatening situation so just be quiet!!!

          • Keepin' it Real!...4Real! says:

            All bark = all vocal…yes?
            No bite = no attack…yes?
To be vocal without violence…isn’t that what we are striving for here..?? Plus I didn’t see where he wrote about what the guy should have done…

Oh…and to the other part of your comment basically the last sentence…you are very mistaken if you think there aren’t many who do know and are experts in these situations. ..If you point a gun in their face, you will be deep throating some cold hard steel before you could open your mouth…so you will end up with some lips and teeth down in your throat, 4Real.
These guys know who to do…and who not to…karma will come though.

Just be aware of your surroundings that’s all…just like when your in the great NYC.

  5. Love is everything says:

Just a thought, wouldn’t it be smart if these banks started their own armed security forces ? Because I highly doubt that this would be the last time this happens and it would be a good idea if they can get armed security in there who can tackle the problem there and then..

    • Smh says:

Add water not fire…less guns not more.

      • Keepin' it Real!...4Real! says:

Fight fire with fire is how I’ve learned to halt and extinguish.

        • Big lad says:

I just had to comment on this…

“Fight fire with fire is how I learned to halt and extinguish”

          You’re kidding right?

Just take a second to think of the words you’ve put there, and logically tell me how applying fire to a fire will actually halt and extinguish a fire?

Your failed attempt at logic has completely negated your point.

          • YADON says:

Fighting fire with fire works by removing oxygen. A fire needs heat, fuel and oxygen, take any one of these away and the fire can no longer sustain itself. It is used to combat large fires like in an oil refinery where removing the fuel or heat is not an option.

          • Keepin' it Real!...4Real! says:

Hey Big Lad…I’m trying to contain myself right now…I’m terribly failing at trying to decipher whether this is your first time putting words into a sensible sentence or are you really that inept…YADON knows what time it is…but i bet you’re wearing an expensive watch though.

            • Big lad says:

              Learn something new everyday.

              My apologies.

Negatory on the big watch though.

    • Truth is killin' me... says:

Guards should be trained to have tazers at the very least!

      • aceboy says:

If the crimminal has a gun in his hand and a finger on the trigger, tazing him would likely cause the weapon to discharge when his muscles contract. The bullet could hit anyone.

  6. Confused says:

  8. d realist says:

this is what happens when your parents say get a job because when school goes back in i dont have any lunch money to give you.

    • Ms. Poli Tician says:

My Mother could not afford to give me lunch money, but I NEVER tried to rob anybody. Your argument/premise is ridiculous, and laden with excuses. Pathetic.

  9. Balaruse' says:

I wonder why the banks don’t have facilities for the money vans to drive into that are secure. All the bank fees we customers pay for!!!

  10. #BLM says:

When the rich get richer and the poorer get poorer, while the income inequality widens, and the cost of living grows we see rise of crime. This is not an excuse supporting their actions but rather an explanation detailing how four males MAY have become this desperate.

    • Hurricane says:

@ #BLM, please note: I have been reduced to 16 hours of work on my job (my only income) and last weekend, I returned from work to find that someone had entered my home and stolen money. I am not going to go out and rob a bank though. What you have said whether you believe it or not, really an excuse and a poor one at that.

      • Varied says:

I think BLM strongly indicated that it wasn’t an excuse at all, but a sign of the times.

Most people are rightfully disgusted by another armed robbery attempt on this island.

        • #BLM says:

Sign of the times is right Varied, and to be honest “hurricane” should be glad they are taking the banks money which isn’t a lost for them instead robbing the hard working ppl like them this time lol smh stealing is wrong both ways round but if they are going to do it atleast they are stealing money thats insured ay

  11. D says:

4 guys omg how noticeable is that so dumb

  12. Steve says:

Was one of them dressed as snow white?

  13. D says:

If they did get money i bet it would have NOT been enough to split between 4 people lol

  14. Smith says:

Ok so how about banning red ski masks?

  15. asampson says:

Perhaps a ‘short’ clip from the banks CCTV will help identify them?

  16. Coffee says:

The police should catch these guys before the weekend . The judicary should deal with them severely by allowing the bank and security firm to hire them as a form of punishment .

    • Keepin' it Real!...4Real! says:

That is an excellent idea…Make them responsible for the money delivery or pick up…If they short 1 dollar. ..jail for life. END of story!

  17. asampson says:

Well given the fact that the BPS can let a someone on a day pass loose and go on a crime spree…..these guys have a pretty decent chance.

  18. clearasmud says:

I guess they did not get the message that teh recession is over!
