October 25, 2015

Bermudian Natasha Tucker being named to the prestigious Forbes ’30 Under 30′ list, footballers Nahki Wells and Reggie Lambe scoring goals, Jessica Lewis winning a bronze medal at the World Championships in Qatar, and 13-year-old Ethan Humphrey developing an app were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

Other good news stories included  George’s resident Ty-Rique Berkeley joining the crew of the tall ship Picton Castle, young Bermudian filmmaker Al Seymour Jr. releasing a new short film, and local creative studio Uber Super Duper won the competition to design a trophy for the winner of the America’s Cup World Series.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of Warwick Academy’s ‘History Day,’ the Fall Graduation at CedarBridge Academy, the America’s Cup, the Black Watch Regiment Pipe Band, the Pick Your Own Pumpkins event at Astood Park, the MSA Halloween Parade and the arrival of the Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester.
