Photo Set #1: America’s Cup Series Final Day

October 19, 2015

The Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series saw Bermuda’s waters taken over by elite sailing teams from the USA, Sweden, Japan, Great Britain, New Zealand and France, with many spectators also heading out onto the water.

While there were three separate winners of the three races on the day, Artemis Racing from Sweden proved to be the most consistent performer to take the overall win, overcoming a collision with an umpire boat to claim victory.

.

“We’ve seen Bermuda come out and put its arms around this event and I think it shows this is going to be a great event in 2017,” said Russell Coutts the CEO of the America’s Cup Event Authority.
