Olympiques/Generals Tie, Vancouver Giants Win

The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double header that produced 21 goals.

Gatineau Olympiques 4 Oshawa Generals 4

A total of 39 shots were shared between the two teams, but the game ended 4 – 4 between the Gatineau Olympiques and the Oshawa Generals.

Mathieu Desjardins and Chad Cundliffe scored a goal each as the Gatineau Olympiques held a 2 – 0 lead at the end of the first period.

It was 3 – 3 when the second period came to an end, the Gatineau Olympiques got a goal from Jacob Amlong making the score 3 – 0, but goals from Jacob Crowell, JM Tremblay and Craig Macneil all scored a goal each for the Oshawa Generals.

In the third and final period, the Oshawa Generals pot a lone strike from Chris Allington.

Vancouver Giants 8 Tri City Americans 5

Four goals highlighted a First Period with both teams scoring twice. Adam Smith and Jace Cowan scored a goal each for the Tri City Americans, while Jon Talbot and Stephen Chin scored a goal each for the Vancouver Giants.

The Vancouver Giants opened up a two goal lead at the end of the second period, with Talbot completing his hat-trick with two goals for the Vancouver Giants and Christopher Jackson added the other, while Christopher Merritt scored the lone goal of the period for the Tri City Americans.
