“Wild Nature Encounters” With Nigel Marven

Nigel Marven, a British wildlife TV presenter, television producer, author and ornithologist, will present ‘Wild Nature Encounters’ as part of the BUEI Talks series on Thursday, November 12.

The event poster says, “Nigel Marven will take you on a ride with some of his wild nature encounters – everything from filming birds to prehistoric adventures. Nigel is a British wildlife TV presenter, television producer, author and ornithologist.”

“His career started at the BBC Natural History Unit and he worked for 12 years with David Attenborough. He is known for his unorthodox and daring style of presenting wildlife documentaries as well as for including factual knowledge in the proceedings.

“He has swum with sharks, grappled with snakes and had giant spiders crawling over his face. He is considered by many to be the Steve Irwin of Britain.”

The presentation will get underway on Thursday, November 12 at 7.30pm, with a Sushi Happy Hour to be held at Harbourfront from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, with dinner opening at 6.00pm.
