Bowling Leagues Donate $1,500 To BCHC
The Mixed Majors Bowling League and Perfect Storm Bowling League recently held a charity event, resulting in a $1,500 donation to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre [BCHC].
The money was raised specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and will go toward the BCHC’s equal access programme, which “provides women access to receive the early detection screenings they cannot afford.”
The event culminated in a cheque being presented to the BCHC, with a number of people involved, including Erwyn Bean, Patrice Tucker, Debbie Ball, Rosaland Simmons, and Glorita Hayward.
