Woman Admits Assault & Threatening Words
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Dec 9], a 27-year-old woman pleaded guilty to unlawfully assaulting another woman and uttering threatening words.
Ms Vaughnika Joseph pleaded guilty to unlawfully assaulting another woman on 1st November 2015; and on the same day, and at the same time, uttering threatening words to the woman by saying: “I’m going to f—k you up. I don’t care if you are with your daughter.”
The Crown Prosecutor told the Magistrate that Ms Joseph accosted the woman, who, at the time, was with her very young child.
Ms Joseph also slapped the woman twice, and was later arrested by police.
The Magistrate ordered a Social Inquiry Report and set sentencing for late January 2016.
Ms Joseph was granted $1,000 bail.
