Bermuda SPCA To Hold Talk On Animal Cruelty

The Bermuda SPCA is getting set to present a talk entitled “Animal Cruelty and the Role of RSPCA,” with the free presentation taking place on Thursday, January 21 at 6.00pm.

The talk will feature guest speaker Supt Simon Osborne of RSPCA UK.

The event poster says, “Simon is a Staff Officer to ADI, Inspectorate Office, RSPCA and has a ‘world’ of experience in animal welfare. This presentation will highlight the role the RSPCA has in the UK enforcing legislation and highlight the origins and links animal cruelty has with human mental health.”

  1. It is cruel for dog owners to walk their dogs on the street, leached. But…. when there is a jogger, the leach isn’t always shortened. I find that to be MOST disrespectful and cruel to joggers!!!

    It is cruel to walk dogs on pavement. IT IS HOT and can cause severe burns to the paw pads. Yet people everywhere walk their dogs during the hottest times of day during the summer.
