BHCS To Offer Extended Hours For MRI Patients

January 9, 2016

In light of the temporary unavailability of MRI at KEMH, Bermuda HealthCare Services said they will offer extended hours for MRI patients for the next two weeks.

Earlier this week, the Bermuda Hospitals Board advised that a “major component of its MRI scanner must be replaced, resulting in the scanner at KEMH Acute Care Wing remaining out of service for approximately three weeks.”

BHCS said, “Bermuda HealthCare Services, in light of the temporary unavailability of MRI at KEMH, will offer extended hours for MRI patients for the next two weeks. Referrals should be made through 236-2810 during our normal working hours. All inquiries should be sent to Marynell Goolsby at mgoolsby@bhcs.bm.”

“We are here to serve the community and we are happy to accommodate patients who would normally go to the hospital” said Dr. Mahesh Reddy, BHCS Medical Director.
