PLP Extends Condolences To Burgess Family
The PLP extended its deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Andrea Burgess saying she “was a stalwart in the community” who “garnered the respect of all those with whom she came in contact.”
Ms. Burgess died last week at age 55. She always managed a sunny disposition and a firm belief in God despite the tragedies that fell along her path in this life, including the untimely deaths of two of her children.
“The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party extends its deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Andrea Burgess,” said a joint statement on behalf of PLP Party Leader Marc Bean, MP Walter Roban and MP Michael Weeks.
“Ms. Burgess was a stalwart in the community and one who garnered the respect of all those with whom she came in contact. As a mother, she was an inspiration to all. Ms. Burgess will be remembered fondly and our heartfelt thoughts are with her daughter Ebonie and the extended family at this time. May she rest in Peace!”
