Rehabilitation Day Hospital Temporarily Moved

February 4, 2016

Bermuda Hospitals Board announced that the Rehabilitation Day Hospital and Home Care Services at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital have been relocated to the old Emergency Department [ED] located on the ground floor of the General Wing.

A spokesperson said, “The temporary move is necessary to allow ceiling renovations to take place. The work is scheduled to take two months. When completed, the services will move back to their previous locale.

“To access the new location, persons should go to the main elevator bank in the General Wing, near the Pink Café, and follow the signs.

“Persons coming for treatment should use visitor parking located at the hospital entrance on Berry Hill Road, which is closest to the old ED. There is also limited parking for persons with disabilities on the Point Finger Road entrance to the General Wing and the Acute Care Wing.

“Members of the public requiring more information or who need wheelchair assistance to access the new location can contact the Rehabilitation Day Hospital unit assistant Anna Pavao on 239-1180 or email anna.pavao@bermudahospitalsboard.bm.”
