Horseshoe Bay Named On “Best Beaches” List
Horseshoe Bay beach has been named on a “Best Beaches to Escape to this Winter” list, with the publication citing “Bermuda’s iconic pink sand and crystal blue water.”
The post on FashionBeans said, “Despite what most people think, Bermuda is not in the Caribbean. But with beaches like Horseshoe Bay, it’s easy to understand the confusion.
“With Bermuda’s iconic pink sand and crystal blue water, you’ll find it pretty hard to believe that you’re only an hour and a half flight away from New York City.
“Just wait until it gets a little warmer to visit. Bermuda might have Caribbean calibre beaches, it definitely doesn’t have Caribbean calibre temperatures.”
One of the best beaches? Absolutely!
But the facilities are dreadful and the parking for locals has been all but taken away.
That beach house needs to be demolished and a nice restaurant and rental hut put in its place.
What good is it when Horseshoe makes the ‘winter’ list but that little blurb about waiting until it is warmer drops it off the list. Hope the BTA didn’t pay for putting Horseshoe on the list.
Well it all depends on where we are being marketed…9/10 it’s the USA…While the other half of the world would consider our winter as their summers…and probably have never heard of Bermuda…oh well its too late now anyway …that AC cup is the only thing keeping us in the Limelight right now…next time we’re international news will be when we have declared bankruptcy…hope you never spoke bad about Haiti…coz you’ll be eating your own gruel.
