Traffic Delays In Paget Due To Collision

[Updated] As of 4.45pm today [Feb 15], there are traffic delays in the Middle Road, Paget area — by the Paget Gas Station — due to a collision involving a car and a motorcycle, the police said.

A police spokesperson said, “Please be advised there is a road traffic collision at the in the area of Middle Road in Paget by the Paget Gas Station, as a result traffic is being diverted on to Harbour Road and South Road.

“The motoring public should expect delays in the area. Details at this point are very sketchy but early indicators suggest a car and a motorcycle collided and the condition of the victim is unknown as this point.”

Update 5.01pm:
A police spokesperson said, “Police and first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place around 4:15pm at the junction of Middle Road in Paget and Valley Road, next to the Rubis Gas Station.

“Upon police arrival it was ascertained that a car and a motorcycle collided resulting in the male on the motorcycle being conveyed to the hospital with what appears to be head injuries.

“Please be advised that as a result of the collision the scene is now being process by Traffic Collision Investigators and officers from the Forensic Support Unit. Traffic is being diverted on to Harbour Road and South Shore Road and the motoring public should expect delays in the area.

“Police are appealing for witness or anyone who may have seen this collision to contact police on 2950011.”
