Tailgating, distraction, inattention? Surely these vehicles did not bang into each other all by themselves.

When I came through was three cars and a truck!

Just your typical awful driving by Bermudians who have no clue how to drive. We expats laugh at the driving test here, it’s just so embarrassing. In our home country, we can drive 000′s of miles at 3 x the speed, legally, accident free, yet take a test here and we are “shown how to drive”. Give an instructor an exam in the UK and he would fail. Every single day I see driving which would be an arrestable offence anywhere else.

For example. Driving through red lights, driving a bike on a sidewalk to avoid a one-way system, driving on the sidewalk at Paget lights, tailgating, overtaking on blind corners, treating the centre line as something you should straddle instead of stay to the left of.

My examiner told me I was driving too slow, and said 50 was ok “because everyone did it”.

    As for the bike test…….
