Bermuda Wins First Athletics Carifta Medal
Bermuda has won its first medal at the 2016 Carifta Track & Field Games being held in Grenada, with Sakari Famous claiming a bronze medal in the high jump with a leap of 1.77.
This opens Bermuda’s medal tally for the athletic portion of these Games, and adds another Carifta medal to Sakari’s collection, with the young Bermudian having previously won a medal at the 2015 Carifta Games in St Kitts, the 2014 Carifta Games in Martinique and the 2013 Carifta Games in the Bahamas.
