BFRS Extricate Man From Vehicle After Collision

A single vehicle accident on South Road in Southampton this morning [Apr 5] resulted in the Bermuda Fire and Rescue service extricating a man from the vehicle, with police noting that “it appears that the victim was physically unharmed.”

A police spokesperson said, “At 9:06am, first responders attended a report of a single vehicle accident on South Road in Southampton in the area of Church Bay. Details are limited but it appears that a man was driving in his car when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a wall resulting in the car being overturned with the lone occupant being trapped inside.

“The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service were on scene and extricated the man from the vehicle. It appears that the victim was physically unharmed and inquiries into both of these incidents are now underway.”
