Traffic Diversion On KEMH Site On Saturday

April 21, 2016

Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] has advised that on Saturday [April 23] there will be no throughway for vehicular traffic at the King Edward Memorial Hospital site.

“Persons needing to attend the Acute Care Wing should enter on Point Finger Road and use parking accessed from that side,” a spokesperson said.

“While persons needing to attend the General Wing can use parking available near the Berry Hill Road entrance. The diversions are necessary as a crane will be situated in the road on the KEMH site, to unload materials for the patient garden.

“The road will close at 8am and is expected to re-open around 5:30pm. BHB apologise for any inconvenience this may cause the motoring public.”
