Man In Critical Condition Following Collision
A 31-year-old man is listed in critical condition in the ICU following a collision last night on South Road in Devonshire.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:55pm on Saturday, May 14th first responders were dispatched to a reported serious single vehicle collision on South Road in Devonshire near the junction with Belmer Drive.
“Details are limited; however it appears that a 31-year0old Paget man riding a motorcycle along South Road crashed into a wall.
“The injured rider was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and at last check was listed in critical condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
“Any witnesses or persons who may have been in the South Road, Belmer Drive Devonshire area around the time of this incident should contact 295-0011.”

Hopefully the victim makes a good recovery, and the family is encouraged. I do try to travel safely due to the increased levels of traffic on the road, sometimes I just stay off the road. I take this moment to appeal to motoris ts to be careful it sometimes means, driving defensively.
