Air Care Partner With Impact Mentoring Academy
Air Care announced its partnership with Impact Mentoring Academy, an all male Bermudian school, whose mission is to ‘empower young men to discover and develop their unique potential and deploy them into their divine destiny.’
In addition to a $1,000 donation to support programming at Impact, Air Care will also be offering a summer employment opportunity to one of Impact’s high school students.
Brendan Stones, Air Care’s General Manager, said: “After meeting with Chris Crumpler, Impact ‘s Executive Director, we were extremely impressed not only in their unique approach to educating and developing their students, but also in what they have already achieved.
“Of particular interest to Air Care is Impact’s Trade Program, which incorporates City & Guilds certification, an internationally recognized certification. “

“Bermuda has struggled to attract Bermudians to participate and complete the HVAC Certification Program offered at Bermuda College and it is critical that all HVAC Technicians be internationally certified.
“So if there is a way that we can support the development of Bermudians and create a higher level of interest in entering this industry, we absolutely will.”
He concluded: “We believe very strongly in supporting the overall development of Bermuda’s young people. Providing this donation and taking on a summer student from Impact is the beginning of what we hope will be a productive and longer term partnership.”
Impact Mentoring Academy’s Executive Director, Chris Crumpler said: “The mission of Impact Mentoring Academy is one that is driven by the passion of our entire team. Each member of our predominantly male staff puts 40 to 50 hours a week into developing our students holistically.
“Without donations and other support like this from the corporate world, Impact could not succeed in providing the quality of education and personal development for our young men that we do.
“We are very grateful to Air Care for stepping up and supporting what we do and I’m excited to see where this partnership might lead.”
