Traffic Delays After Bus And Car Collide In Paget

Traffic travelling through Paget this afternoon [June 3] faced delays after a public transportation bus and a car collided on South Road near the junction with White Sands Road.

A Police spokesperson said, “Around 4:52pm this afternoon, police responded to a report of a collision involving a PTB bus and a private motorcar, which occurred on South Road Paget near the junction with White Sands Road.

“Details are limited however it was reported that both vehicles were traveling in an easterly direction when they were involved in a collision. Both vehicles were damaged, however there were no reported injuries.”

    Dem brakes and steering wheels be locking up again! On a serious note hope all involved are ok as the dents and damage can be fixed, its just metal.

    I’m surprised we don’t see far-more accidents per. week/day considering the way the public / Goverment vehicles travel about :-(
    It’s as if they’re been given the only rights of the use of our “Public” roads… There needs to be a change with the road speed Laws A.S.A.P.

    Wow both travelling in same direction.
    Hope it’s not a case of bus pulling out of layby. Some of those bus drivers think they command the roads and don’t use caution when entering main road from layby.

      Busses have the right of way, other drivers are supposed to give way
