PLP Extend Best Wishes To Olympic Athletes
“The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party extends best wishes to the Bermuda Olympic Team as they ‘Go For The Gold’ in Rio,” Shadow Minister of Health and Community Affairs Michael Weeks said.
“We acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and sacrifice that goes into competing at this, the highest level of international sporting competition and know that you will represent Bermuda and your families with honour, dignity and the true Bermudian spirit.”
Competing for Bermuda will be Harold ‘Tre’Houston in Athletics; Tyrone Smith in Athletics; Julian Fletcher in Swimming; Rebecca Heyliger in Swimming; Michelle ‘Shelley’ Pearson in Rowing; Cameron Pimentel in Sailing; Cecilia ‘Ceci’ Wollmann in Sailing; and Flora Duffy in Triathlon.
