Community Engagement Meeting On Tuesday

Bermuda Police, alongside community partners, will hold a Community Engagement Meeting from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday [Sept 13] at the Heritage Worship Community Centre on Dundonald Street .

Speaking at a press conference today to release the latest crime statistics, Commissioner of Police Michael DeSilva said, “We have invited four community partners to join us in a Community Engagement Meeting to be held between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Tuesday 12th September at the Heritage Worship Community Centre on Dundonald Street, Pembroke.

“I will be joined by: Martha Dismont from the Family Centre, Kimberley Jackson from Mirrors, Gina Spence from The Champions Programme, and David Lovell from Men on a Mission. Minister of National Security, Senator Jeffrey Baron, and Shadow Minister for Home Affairs, Mr. Walter Roban, will also be in the audience.

“We will be talking about the things that have been working so far, and exploring what more can be done. This will be a solutions-driven conversation that will appeal to everyone who wants to make a real difference in tackling gang violence and making Bermuda safer.

“The meeting is open to everyone and I hope to see you all there.”
