Business As Usual At Hamilton Princess
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is operating as usual following the passage of Hurricane Nicole today [Oct 13], saying “services were not interrupted for the duration of the hurricane.”
A spokesperson said, “The hotel sustained no damage as a result of the hurricane and clean-up is underway. To ensure the safety and security of its guests and colleagues, the hotel followed a comprehensive hurricane preparation plan and the property was well equipped to handle the storm.
“The hotel is taking room reservations from locals who may wish to move into the hotel following the storm until power is restored. Furthermore, Crown & Anchor and Marcus’ are operating as normal.
“Marcus’ is open until midnight and Crown & Anchor is open until 1am although the kitchen will close at 10pm. Reservations can be made by calling 295-3000.”
“With Hurricane Nicole behind us, we welcome local residents to either book into the hotel or join us for dinner if they want some light reprieve,” said Allan Federer, general manager, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
“Our thoughts are with those families who may have suffered damage as a result of today’s hurricane. We would like to thank our employees who continued to work through the hurricane to ensure that our guests continued to enjoy their stay in Bermuda and at the hotel.”
“Hamilton Princess will continue to keeps its guests updated on the operations and reopening of L.F. Wade International Airport.”
