Court: 36-Year-Old Denies Importing Cannabis
Appearing in Magistrates Court, 36-year-old Andre Richardson denied importing and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The charges relate to an alleged offence in St George’s [LF Wade Airport] on 5th June 2016, and when asked, the Crown Prosecutor told the Magistrate that the weight of the alleged substance was 5,358.5 grams with an alleged street value of $267,925.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set Richardson’s trial for 29th December.
The Magistrate granted Richardson bail at $60,000 with one surety in a like amount. The Magistrate also ordered him to surrender his travel documents, not leave Bermuda without the permission of the Courts, and report to Hamilton Police Station every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
