MSA Will Be Closed Wednesday & Thursday
Mount Saint Agnes Academy [MSA] will be closed on Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th to a due to the approach of Hurricane Nicole.
A school spokesperson said, “Based upon the most recent information from the Bermuda Weather Service & EMO, Mount Saint Agnes Academy [MSA] have determined that we will close at the end of day today and remain closed on Wednesday, October 12th & Thursday, October 13th to allow our students, their families, our faculty and staff to prepare accordingly and remain in the safest possible environment in advance of the expected hazardous conditions in Nicole’s approach.
“Additional preparations are being made for MSA’s annual Bazaar which is due to be held this week, Friday October 14th & Saturday October 15th from 10am-10pm.
“It is hoped and anticipated that school will resume on Friday, October 14th and our Bazaar will go ahead as scheduled. Once it is safe to do so, the School Administration will determine the safety and feasibility of both reopening our school and opening the MSA Bazaar.
“Parents and the public are asked to check the local media outlets and our school website, msa.bm, for updates – these channels will be updated as soon as possible. We hope and pray that the effects of Hurricane Nicole are minimal.”
