Hockey Results: Swallows, Ravens, Budgies Win
This past weekend saw hockey action in the women’s division, with the Swallows, Ravens and Budgies recording wins.
Sandpipers 2 Swallows 6
The Swallows defeated the Sandpipers 6 – 2. Mandy Barker scored twice for Sandpipers, while the Swallows got two goals from Natasha Hallinan and Helen Clarke, while Laura West-Burt and Diane Moore added a goal each.
Ravens 6 Longtails 0
The Ravens score six unanswered goals in their 6 – 0 win over the Longtails, Alexis Marshall-Harris scored twice, with Sharmini Samuels, Charmaine Smith, Jessica Hollis and Molly O’Donnell all added a goal each.
Bluebirds 0 Budgies 10
Jasmine Patterson scored a hat-trick to lead the Budgies to a 10 – 0 win over the Bluebirds, Francesca Cacacae added two goals, while Keishae Robinson, Alex Godet-Fisher, Taylor Mullen, Yvonne Cacace and Selina DeSilva all added a goal each.
