Burnt Utility Pole Lands In Resident’s Driveway
The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a pole fire on Middle Road in Devonshire this morning [Dec 17]. On arrival the fire had burnt through and appeared to be out but resulted in the top portion of the utility pole falling off, landing in the driveway of a nearby residence. It did not appear that any wiring was attached to the burnt pole. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.
